Nutricate’s wellness solution gives foodservice operators the tools that will help their customers make more informed dining decisions. I’m not sure this is going to fly as a business. Do restaurants want customers to make more informed dining decisions? And moreover, to make more informed dining decisions wouldn’t customers want the nutrition information before they’ve ordered and eaten?
Maybe menus should have nutritional information instead, and maybe it should be compulsory that they do. In fact, I can’t imagine why the legal logic that requires packaged food to carry nutritional information doesn’t also apply to restaurant food.
